“My Animation TV” (MAT) – The name stands for a network of professionally created animation channels on YouTube. Its called a Multi-Channel-Network! The objective of the network is to be the world’s number one address for any kind of animated film: the premium location for animation in the web. The founder of the MAT is the scopas medien AG in co-operation with YouTube and the ITFS as a leading festival platform.

 

The concept of the network, due to go online in 2013, is as simple as it is comprehensive. A diverse range of animation content from all over the world will be integrated into the channel structure of the network and then sorted according to subject: arthouse, blockbusters, comedy, children, science fiction, anime etc. Regardless of whether films are in 2D or CGI, stop-motion, pixilation or puppet animation – all genres are not only allowed but welcome. This applies to all formats too; from short film to feature-length, from series to clips and trailers.
